Description'Gentlemen,
Replying to your letter of the 28th ultimo, I now return the copy of the Executorship Accounts of the late Dr George Gore duly signed by the Treasurer of the Society, who is authorised by Statute to received for the use of the Society all sums of money payable to the Society. The receipt is signed on the understanding that the sum of money due to the Royal Society, as shown on these accounts, will be paid over immediately.
With regard to Mrs Fysh, her circumstances have formed the subject of a special reference of the Council of the Royal Society to a Committee, which has them under consideration at the present time.'
