Description'Dear Sir,
I understand that you are willing to supply and erect on this building a new flagstaff 40 or 45 feet hight, [atopped] and pointed with 2 coats of paint; 2 halyards to be supplied and reeved; stays to be repainted, all for the sum of £4. 10. This price is to include taking down the old pole.
In the event of my deciding to give you the order I shall be glad to have your guarantee that the work will be carried out according to this specification and to my satisfaction.'
