DescriptionGeikie should like to set down in writing the various points which were discussed and settled between Geikie and Mayhew. These included Mayhew's agreement to undertake the catalogue, that the catalogue should be a "Students Catalogue", that Mayhew has been furnished with a collection of manuscript slips, that Mayhew will be at liberty to remove volumes from the Royal Society to the British Museum to work on, and regarding the time line for the completion of the work and estimates of cost.
