TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Manager, Cambridge University Press, Fetter Lane
Date15 September 1909
Description'Beattie's "Magnetic Survey of South Africa".
Dear Sir,
In absence of all our Officers I have no one to consult on the question you raise. I can therefore only give my personal opinion, as I expressed it to your representative when he called here a week or two ago. My opinion is that a copy should be sent to the 'Rand Daily Mail'. Their letter is more than a month old; the book has now been out some time, and Professor Beattie is more or less inaccessible in some remote part of Rhodesia [Zimbabwe]. I return your enclosure.'
