DescriptionThe Minute of the Executive Committee of the National Physical Laboratory proposing that the salary of the Director of the Laboratory be raised, after ten years' service, from £1300 per year with a residence, to £1500 per year with a residence, was communicated to the Council of the Royal Society at their meeting on 24 February, and Council have fixed a future salary of £1500 with a residence.
