TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr John S Owens, 47 Victoria Street, SW
Date29 April 1910
Description'Dear Sir,
Soiree.
Referring to your letter of April 18, offering an exhibit at the Soiree on May 25, illustrative of the rate of settlement of bodies in water, the application has been considered by the Exhibits Committee, and I am to say that they will be pleased to provide room for an exhibit, but as the subject is one on which a great deal has been done on the physical side, it is desirable to restrict the exhibit to the portions that are of geological interest, especially as space is limited.
I enclose a form for the particulars of the exhibit which kindly fill up and return at your early convenience.'
