DescriptionKempe writes to Harmer regarding the £250 entrusted to Lankester by the Council of the Royal Society in 1906 from the funds placed in the hands of the Society for the preparation for publication of the Scientific results of the National Antarctic Expedition. In June last Lankester wrote telling Kempe there is a balance of £46 left over, and asking if the Council would allow him to pay that balance into the account of the "Exploration Fund", but the Council has it should be returned, by the Royal Society, to the Joint Antarctic Committee.
