TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to D R McCord, KC, Temple Grove, Montreal
Date8 June 1910
DescriptionSome time since McCord wrote to one of the Secretaries of the Society asking for some autograph of de Bougainville from the records of the Society, and a continued search has been made in the hope of finding one, but so far without success. The only document that has been found connected to Bougainville is the original certificate of his candidature for admission to the Society.
Harrison explains that this document is of some interest on account of the autographs of distinguished men of science (including D'Alembert and Clairan) but does not contain Bougainville's signature. If it is of interest Harrison could have a photograph made to send McCord a facsimile copy.
