Description'Dear Prof Dunstan,
With further reference to your letter of the 28th May, regarding the use of the rooms of the Royal society for the meetings of the African Society, I have to inform you that the opinion of the Officers of this Society it is very unlikely that permission would be granted in view of the number of extraneous bodies already using our rooms, and the limited [number] available for Committee meetings.'
