TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor F [Francis] W [Wall] Oliver FRS, Chairman of the Sectional Committee for Botany
Date14 June 1910
Description'A paper by Miss M G Sukes, on the anatomy and morphology of the leaves and inflorescences of welwitchia mirabillis.
This is an abridge and revised form of a paper previously communicated (but withdrawn) upon which you were good enough to report as 2nd referee last year. Both referees then suggested that the paper should be withdrawn with a view to condensation.
Prof Bower; the first referee, now considers that the paper, in its present form is suitable for the publication in the Phil[osophical] Trans[actions of the Royal Society] and the Secretary (Prof J [John] R [Rose] B [Bradford) has passed it for reading.
Subject to your concurrence as Chairman, the Secretaries propose to proceed with the publication of the paper under Stnading Order 43.'
