TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Messrs Wetherman & Co, Ltd
Date14 June 1910
DescriptionHarrison had laid Messrs Wetherman's letter and correspondence relating to their charge for a collotype plate before the Treasurer and has been authorised to reply as follows:-

In view of the precise nature of the estimate given on the 18th January, and accepted, the Royal Society cannot be called upon to pay more than the estimated amount of £4.10. for the plate in question. Since there appears to have been a mistake on the part of Messrs Weatherman, the Treasurer has, however, offer to meet Wetherman to the extent of paying a total sum of £5 for the time. Harrison informs Messrs Wetherman that a mistake of the nature now under reference will not be recognised again.
