Adverting to your letter of the 7th instant, I have been authorized by the Treasurer to accept your quotation of £17. 0. 0 for the erection of a Steel Grille Gate and frame inside the existing doors of our Strong Room. This is accepted on the understanding that the gate will be filled with a proper safe lock so as to secure the Strong Room for entry when the outer doors are open.'
