TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Mr Edwin Wilson, Mill Lane, Cambridge
Date22 July 1910
Description'Will you go carefully into this job:--
11 plain pates) Dendy, Trans
2 coloured plates)
and quote separately for the plain and the coloured, say for 900 of each.
The author would like the work put in your hands, and we should be quite willing, subject to your price being satisfactory; but as the paper is an unusually heavy and expensive one we are compelled to consider every means by which expenses can be spared, so long as the standard of reproduction is adequately maintained. I can therefore make no promise. We shall have to sent the plates for quotation to other lithographers, and perhaps consider the possibility of alternative processes.'
