Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr J [John] R [Rose] Bradford, Sec RS |
Date | Undated |
Description | Harrison asks for Bradford's concurrence regarding Miss Wing's paper. Mr Horace Brown recommends Thoday's paper specifically for Proceedings [of the Royal Society] on the ground of the previous paper by the same author having been published there but was emphatic in his opinion that the author should be required to re-write the paper which was sent in a state which the Society should not be called upon to edit. The Committee of Papers has now been decided that the paper must be materially cut down and both requirements can be embodied in one letter. Harrison asks if Bradford wishes him to draft a letter to the communicator Dr [Frederick Frost] Blackman. |
