Adverting to Mr Harrison's letter of yesterday's date I am to inform you that the President has written from Sheffield to say that it is not possible now to find a delegate to the Congress of Radiology in place of Sir Joseph Thomson and hence Professor Rutherford must remain as the sole representative of the Royal Society.'
