Description'Dear Longhurst,
I have seen the Treasurer with reference to your question about Antarctic funds, and he says that nothing can be done in the way of making a recommendation to the Treasury until our Council have passed a resolution on the subject, and they do not meet until October 27. Let us hope the Treasury will remain quiet till then.'
