TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor [Alexander] Macalister FRS
Date7 October 1910
Description'My dear Sir,
The paper by Mr W H L Duckworth on "The craniology of the modern inhabitants of Sardinia", communicated by you for the Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society], has been under consideration, but so far all the reports are unfavourable for its publication by the Royal Society. In the ordinary course the paper and reports would be referred to the Sectional Committee, but as the paper has not been read it is open to you to withdrawn it, if you so desire, on the understanding that the paper is considered as not having been communicated to the Society at all.
I shall be glad to hear if you are willing to adopt this suggestion.'
