DescriptionIn accordance with the scheme of organisation, it is necessary for the Council of the Institution of Civil Engineers to make a nomination to the General Board of the National Physical Laboratory, and Harrison has been instructed to ask them to move their Council to nominate a representative. Sir William White, the present representative, would in the ordinary course retire next 31 December, but since his term of office on The Executive Committee of the Laboratory does not expire until December 1915.
