DescriptionThrough the courtesy of Sir James Dewar, the Royal Society have received a very admirable etched portrait of the late Professor Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleef [Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev] which Blumbach and Mladentseff have been so good to present as a memoir of the great chemist. The President would like to convey the cordial thanks of the Royal Society.
