TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to W [William] Bateson FRS
Date26 April 1911
Description'I believe you have already been invited to make an exhibit for the year's Soiree, but I write now to point out that we have only one meeting room demonstration arranged for, and that is no the physical side. Sir Joseph Larmor thinks it a pity that the biologists should not come forward with a little lecture of general interest, and suggests that you might be able to provide one.
Will you kindly let me know as soon as possible whether you could help in this way, and if so what your subject would be. I think you know that the meeting room demonstrations are generally affairs of about half an hour or less, with lantern or experimental illustrations.'
