TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Director, Vatican Observatory, Rome
Date21 June 1911
DescriptionHarrison acknowledge the Director's letter of June 1st.
The despatch of the volumes of Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society] which the Director desires for the Vatican Observatory Library shall be made as early possible, but some delay is unavoidable. In the meantime Harrison encloses a note of the amount to which the volumes of 1875 to 1890 would work out at one third the published price.
With reference to the third paragraph of the Director's letter, the Royal Society should be very glad to have the duplicate volumes he speaks of.
