TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor A [Andrew] Gray FRS
Date26 April 1911
Description 'The paper by My Houston on the Absolute Measurement of Light, which you communicated a short time ago, has been under consideration, and the Secretaries are prepared to recommend it for publication in the Proceedings [of the Royal Society]; but before sending it to the printer I am instructed to send you, for the author's consideration, some extracts from a report that has been made upon the paper, and to mention that it is considered to be written out rather diffusely for our Proceedings, and to suggest that Dr Houston may be able to condense it in places. For this purpose I return, with this, the MS [manuscript] of the paper and if you will submit the suggestions to the author, publication will be proceeded with when it comes back here.'
