TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor G [George] Carey Foster FRS
Date28 July 1911
Description'I enclose the report on the progress of the Library Catalogue which MEssrs Newcombe and Elliston have drawn up in consultation with me, and as I have had some say in their recommendations I have added my name to it. With it I send two specimen pages of printing.
I imagine it would be futile to attempt to get any decision from the Library Committee so late in the session and, subject to your approval, I purpose sending round the report with the specimen pages late in September on early in October. If, however, you think the Committee might usefully deliberate on the matter during the holidays I would send them out now, but in that case I should be glad to have your decision at once because I start for my holiday on Monday afternoon.'
