Description'I have the pleasure to inform you that, acting under the Standing Orders of Council relating to publication, the Secretaries have marked your paper "Some phenomena of regeneration in sycon; with a note on the structure of Its collar-cells" as suitable for publication in the "Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]".
In the ordinary course your paper would go forward for press immediately; but I am divided to draw your attention to the enclosed remarks made by a Fellow of the Society, and to ask if you would be willing to make the alterations suggested.' [faded additions to text]
