Description'Enclosed is Carpenter's last report from Uganda, which you wished to see. Will you please return it to be when you have read it.
I find by the correspondence with the Stationery Office that they promised to send it copies of the Sleeping Sickness Reports be Thursday next. If they do so, all is well, and we can send you down 150 at once. If, however, they do not some, I propose to write and ask them to send at any rate a few, say, a dozen, by Saturday, so that you may have them in time to pack; and then we will undertaken to distribute the rest if you will let me have your list of recipients.'
