TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to F [Frank] W [Watson] Dyson FRS, Astronomer Royal
Date20 November 1911
Description'I have been obliged to delay replying to your letter about photographing the portrait of Bradley in order to see how an appointment could be fitted in among the rather numerous engagements that occupy our rooms in the near future, and especially those rooms in which alone the lighting is good enough for picture photography.
If Mr Melotte could do all he wants in the morning before one o'clock, any day this week or next would be equally convenient to us; but if he wants the afternoon, then it would have to be either to-morrow or some day next week; unless he found it possible to take the photograph in the large meeting room downstairs, in which case it could be at his disposal the whole of Friday next.'
