TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Messrs Wesley & Son
Date6 February 1912
Description'Adverting to my call upon you a short time since with reference to the late Sir William Huggins's book upon the Royal Society, I find that, as you supposed, the bulk of the blocks illustrating that work are in our possession, having been presented by Sir William Huggins to the Society.
There is one however, of considerable importance to us, which I do not find in the parcel. That is the portrait of King Charles II, our founder, and as we are desirous of using this illustration in one of the publications of the Society I shall be greatly obliged by your having a search made to see if it is in your possession, and by your sending it to me if found.'
