TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Horace Hart
Date11 March 1912
DescriptionRoyal Society Records.
Harrison thanks Hart for his letter of the 9th instant, with the specimens of headings &c for Chapter 7. Harrison encloses the specimens approved both for the medals and for the lectures. In response to the last paragraph of his letter, Harrison is sending herewith the manuscript pages 229-268 for Chapter 8. Sections 3 and 4 Harrison should be glad to see in slip set up in the style of the specimen Hart sent in. The Royal Society thought this style clearer for the purpose than the larger type Hart suggests. Harrison trusts he may rely on Hart's compositors to arrange the Painter and Donors in the positions shown on the specimen, whether so markers on the copy or not.
