TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor J [John] Perry FRS
Date20 March 1912
Description'In accordance with my promise to you I put the notice which you enclosed in your letter of the 14th in the Tea Room; but today the President, who saw it, has told me that he thinks the subject of the notice is too personal and private in character to be suitable for public exhibition, and has asked me to suggest that a note from yourself personally to the Fellows who signed the memorial under reference (or to a selection of them) would be the better way of meeting the situation. Pending your decision I retain the notice here in my office.'
