TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Messrs Hampton & Sons
Date17 May 1912
Description'In connection with the Society's celebrations in July it will be necessary for us to hire considerable number of light chairs to place in the Library, and I shall be glad to know whether you can supply on hire not less than 400 bent wood cane chairs for one afternoon. The chairs would have to be fastened together in rows, and it would be an essential condition of the arrangement that they should be brought in on the morning of Tuesday, July 16th and removed the same night.
I shall be glad to hear whether you will be prepared to undertake this and what your charges will be.'
