TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir John Murray KCB, FRS
Date21 December 1911
Description'In reply to your enquiry of yesterday's date, with respect to the certificate of Mr W E Hoyle: this certificate has now lapsed, and cannot longer be redespended. As you know, the validity of a certificate extends over a period of five years: Mr Hoyle's certificate was received on December 23rd 1905, was suspended for the election of 1906, and has been re-suspended each year up to and including 1911.
Should you wish to prepare a fresh certificate I will send you a form, but you will of course be too late to enter Mr Hoyle as a candidate fro the 1912 election.'
