DescriptionHis application on behalf of the Alpine Club to publish a paper from the Royal Society's archives giving an account of Colonel Beaufoy's ascent of Mont Blanc in 1787 was acceded to by President and Council yesterday. Requests that a proof of the paper be submitted to the Royal Society before actual publication. A copy of the paper is being made and will be sent in the next few days.
