TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor A [Arthur] M [Mason] Worthington FRS
Date6 December 1912
Description'Replying to your card of yesterday, I find that your card of December 1st was duly received here, and that the number of Proceedings you asked for in so far as it could be identified, was despatched to you on the 3rd inst. There was nothing on your first card to indicate that you were leaving the Hertford address, and there was some doubt in the mind of the person to whom your commission was entrusted as to which number you wanted; because the Proceedings has not been published in monthly parts, but in numbers issued as irregular intervals. There was therefore a few hours delay in determining what to send you, and in the end the number containing the accounts of the meetings held in January 1899 was sent: and it ought to have reached you before yesterday when you wrote your second card. I trust it has come into your hands by now, and shall be very sorry if any miscarriage has occurred. Your card asked for "Proc, Royal Society, Jan, 1899".'
