I find that Dr Fletchley attended the Anniversary celebrations in July as representing the British Museum (Natural History Department). I therefore think I am justified in regarding that Department of the Museum as an institution which sent a delegate and consequently is entitled to receive the two memorial volumes, namely, the facsimile Charter Book and the Record, third edition, and I am sending instructions to the published to forward you these two books.' |
