TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Clement Reid FRS
Date7 January 1913
Description'I have now examined into the circumstances to which you called my attention in your letter of December 31st, already briefly acknowledged. The history of the parcel incident appears to be that a parcel of Phil[osophical] Trans[actions] addressed to you was sent on here without any note or explanation, from the Survey Office, and our porter thought they were returned as wrongly addressed and readdressed them to you in the country. Of course he ought to have enquired before doing so and I have to apologise to you for the trouble given. If you like to send the parcel off, carriage forward, it shall be acknowledged when received, but I should be glad of a postcard just to notify the despatch. The printers have orders to discontinue the regular despatch of the publications to you, but you will of course be able to obtain any particular numbers that you wish for on application.'
