Title Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to W [William] B [Bate] Hardy FRS
Date13 January 1912
Description'I should have sent off you paper at once in response to your request received this morning but for the position in which it happens to stand at this moment. The paper is 'ripe' for the decision of the Sectional Committee of Physics, and I am [?] reputation with the Chairman to an early meeting. In these circumstances I hardly feel at liberty to let this paper go back to the author for alteration without a higher authority than my own, but I will try my best to get the point settled tomorrow and let you know on Wednesday one way or the other.
We have found your slides and they are here at your service, in the custody of Mr P Rogers - in case you should want them at any time.'
