TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr Charles Chree FRS
Date17 February 1913
DescriptionHarrison thanks Chree for his letter regarding the paper on Elastic Stability, Harrison writes it is difficult for him to answer Chree's question with any precision, because he is not competent to read the paper with intelligence, much less to form a judgement on the place it occupies between maths and physics. All Harrison can tell him is that the paper is communicated by Professor Love, and he gives the headings of the sections and details of its length in the hope that it will enable Chree to form an idea of the character of the paper.
On this information Chree can decide whether or not the accept responsibility of reporting on it.
