TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir A [Alfred] B [Bray] Kempe, Treasurer of the Royal Society
Date1 March 1913
Description'The letter from the Treasury relating to Eskdalemuir was referred to you by the Gassiot Committee the other day to report upon in connection with the general question of the Royal Society's responsibility for Eskdalemuir, which had been referred to you at the previous meeting; but Professor Schuster thinks that an immediate reply to the Treasury letter is required, and he suggests that something like the enclosed might be sent at once, and has asked me to show it to you before we settle it finally for despatch. IF you will kindly return it to me with any comments of yours we might get it ready for despatch next week.
There is one other point arising out of the Council Minutes, that is, as to the exact form of the alterations we gave notice to propose for the Scientific Relief Regulations. I will not repeat them here, but ask you to take special note of them in the proof Council Minutes which will reach you in a few days.'
