Description'There willlbe no objection to you coming here to consult you MSS relating to Dr Spotiswoode's article on the plants of Tangier if you will give me due notice of your coming so that the papers may be looked out. But if you desire to copy or publish anything from our archives it will be necessary to obtain the permission of Council, which will not meet before the 24th instant. It will be a convenience if you can arrange not to come on a Thursday when we are very busy with meetings.'
