Description'I am much obliged by your letter of the 12th instant enclosing extracts from the Will of the late Lord Lister, and am now able to inform you, in reply to your enquiry of the 8th instant, that Consols should be transferred to the Society's "A" account in the books of the Bank of England.
With reference to the other securities I have an enquiry from our brokers informing us that they are unable to identify the China Navigation Company Limited as described in the list forwarded in your letter of March 4, and I shall be much obliged if you can furnish me with a fuller description of this stock.'
