Date18 April 1913
Description'I have been in communication with the Russian Embassy with the object of securing facilities for the entrance into Russia of yourself and the other delegates to the International Association, and have received the letter of which I enclose a copy.
I imagine it is desirable that you should obtain your passport as soon as possible, and I shall be much obliged by your letting me know when you propose to start on the journey, in order that I may reply to the last paragraph of the letter.
Viejbolovo, otherwise, Wierzbolow, (German Wierballen) is the Custom Station on the direct route Berlin, Insterburg, St Petersburg, and in order to secure the advantages of the arrangements which the Embassy is making it will be necssary for you to take your ticket by that route.'
