TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr W [William] N [Napier] Shaw FRS
Date18 April 1913
Description'We have received the enclose letter from Mr Frederick Chambers, formerly of the Colaba Observatory, sending an unpublished paper by the late Charles Chambers FRS, which the former believes to be of much importance. I shave shown it to the Chairman of the Sectional Committee and he is under the impression that the work described has essentially been covered by other observers since the paper was written; but he would be very glad of your opinion on the subject, and as to the suitability of the paper for publication now by the Royal Society. The paper has so far not been registered as a paper formally communicated to the Society.'
