TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to C [Charles] V [Vernon] Boys FRS
Date22 April 1913
Description'Soiree.
With reference to the Gaede Pump, it appeared that Sir James Dewar had one at the Royal Institution. Accordingly it was thought advisable to write to him, mentioning the idea of the Soiree Exhibits Committee that the pump be exhibited, trusting thereby that some help might be forthcoming from himself.
I enclose a letter from Sir James which does not forward the matter, but rather suggests difficulties.
Perhaps you will be good enough to say whether you think the question of an exhibit should be pursued further in view of this letter.'
