TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to the Secretary, the American Embassy
Date28 November 1912
Description'The President of the Society has learned with great regret from the Ambassador's letter of the 26th instant that he will be prevented from attending the Anniversary meeting and Dinner of the Society on Saturday.
I am, however, to express the hope that a representative of the Embassy may be able to attend the medal which has been awarded to Colonel Gorgas, and which His Excellency the Ambassador has been good enough to offer to transmit to the recipient.
In the event of a representative of the Embassy being able to attend he will be in time for the distribution of medals if he can be here by 4:15 on Saturday.'
