TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Joseph Larmor, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date31 May 1913
DescriptionSpencer Jones, whose paper Larmor communicated with a number of excisions and modifications by himself, has sent back the proof and added two extra pages which it seems that Larmor intended to cut out because the pages he refers to are not within the original and their pagination as added in pencil by Larmor to page 33. Asks if he would look at the two pages and say whether they were deliberately omitted or whether some accident is responsible.

Burbidge's paper which Larmor communicated by request of Professor Laby has been to a referee who recommends that it should be referred back for modification. He says 'the experimental results cannot be printed without some explanation and that given at present is wrong'. The author is far away and it woud take long to communicate with him, so Professor [Arthur] Schuster suggest that Larmor could revise the paper.
