TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Francis Darwin, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Botany Committee
Date6 June 1913
DescriptionAs the communicator of the paper by Professor W B Bottomley on the 'Formation of humus from organic substances', Professor J R Green, was anxious to have an early decision on it. It was sent to Horace [Tabberer] Brown, who reports that it is not suitable for communication to the Royal Society as the work is of a sketchy and preliminary nature. The Biological Secretary suggests that the communicator should be asked to withdraw the paper, if the Chairman concurs.
