TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Horace Hart
Date14 July 1913
DescriptionReturning the whole revise of the Royal Society Anniversary Volume for press. It has been found desirable to add an Indec, and Geikie would be glad to have a proof at the earliest convenience. He wants to be quite done with the volume before he goes on holiday next month.

The title page seems rather heavy. The uniformity of the type in the second and third lines seem to be responsible for this. The binding might be decidedly different from the Record, and as simple as possible. The book will probably be too thin to have a title any other way than lengthwise, and it might be enough to put '250th Anniversary of the Royal Society, 1912'. Would like to see some samples of cloth or paper for the binding.
