TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to [Alfred Daniel] Hall, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date24 July 1913
DescriptionThe Committee to which his paper was referred considered that it was more suitable for the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' than the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', and Harrison cannot go behind it. The Sectional Committees have lately passed resolutions to the effect that it is for them, subject to the ultimate decision of the Committee of Papers, to decide which publication any given paper should appear. Since he is willing that the publication should wait until after the vacation, the question of the medium can be referred to the Committee of Papers in October if he wishes.
