TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Alfred Edwin Howard Tutton, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 July 1913
DescriptionThanks him for his letter of last week, and for returning the Library Books. Gathers from his note that Butterworth's charge to Tutton was for electros of the blocks of his 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' paper. But Harrison does not understand how Butterworth comes in, because the usual procedure is to ask the Royal Society printers to supply the electros direct to the publishers. Original blocks are not lent out, and the cost of electros is trifling. If he will say what figures he wants and who will publish the book, the printers can supply them with electros.
