TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to C F Clay
Date7 December 1891
DescriptionRix reports that the bindings look 'very well', though there are a couple of slight discrepancies between the new and the old volumes. The height differs slightly, though he reflects that this does not perhaps matter, and the binding on the morocco volume is broader, which he believes should be altered if it can be easily done.

Rix states that the main difference is in the size of the lettering, with that in the second panel notably larger than on the old volumes, which is very noticeable as it stands on the shelf. Rix believes that this ought to be altered, further adding that its size makes the panel appear crowded, and that it 'catches the eye as a disagreeable discrepancy'.
